If this great country does go in the direction of socialism…let it be know that I can say that I did not vote for Obama and I am not a contributing factor that will lead this great country to it’s demise.
Our grandchilden and their grandchilder will read the history books….I am not a contributing factor of this sad history that may be looming for us today.
I can rest in peace as I am not part of this!

Obama has performed miracles in the 6 months that he has been in office. To take on the huge burden that was left him by Bush is a monumental undertaking. Give the man a chance. Oh, and how about some positive input rather than the constant wining?

  2. William W. says:

I too am not at fault for voting for this man and participating in the demise of a great and caring country. As far as socialism is concerned… one can be assured that our grandchildren and their own will not bear witness to this. Our country will not stand for socialism… the history of a once existing Republic of the United States of America will never happen.

I was a very big supporter of Senator Obama during the elections, but now, I honestly don’t understand what’s gotten into him. For some idiotic reason, he thinks he can handle 30 things at once, leading him to not give each of those things as much attention as needed. Also, even stupider, he rushes everything. He has it in his mind that the sooner the healthcare bill is signed, the better its going to be. HE IS WRONG. He has to learn to take his time on such important issues as healthcare. No one wants a terrible reform signed before the end of the year, rather than a great reform signed later in the year. It is very disappointing, and for that reason, he has lost my support.

Maybe he doesn’t have an option. This country has been headed the wrong way for so long that it is almost impossible to turn it. Almost is the key word here!

I am very disappointed in the direction the country is moving to. Although I did not vote for President Obama, I did feel that he would be an effective leader. Unfortunately, it seems that supporting big, Union backed business and this soft form of socialism, is his agenda. The government is breaking down the free enterprise system, with each bailout. Everytime, the government implements a bailout program, many small businesses suffer.
As far as the health care reforms, he needs to slow down and take a minute. This rush to get something passed will not benefit anyone. We have had problems with the health care system for many years now, a few more months or even a year will not make a difference. We need a strong, fair, and well supported-by the American people- reform bill. Something that will help all Americans, not just some, and we need to expect to pay for what we are receiving. This should not be a hand out, something for nothing will be abused.
What is even more disheartening, is the way his supporters are giving into the idea that this socialist path, is a great idea. Our hometown newspaper had a poll and asked if “you would support socialism”, surprising, many thought it to be a great idea. Many, who supported it, felt it was nice to have the government give you what you need, rather than to earn it. This scares me!! I don’t think most Americans really know what true socialism is. We really need to educate the public, as to what the differences are between a democratic and socialistic government. But most of all how it will really effect you now and in the future.

I’d like to remind everyone of the socialistic services we have in this country that ensure that Americans have access to firefighters, police officers, clean water and air, pure food, schools, paved roads and highways, electricity, sewer systems, libraries, parks and playgrounds, television and radio programs, post offices, etc, etc.

If you dislike these socialistic services that have been provided to you for countless decades, by all means, quit using them. In fact, be my guest.

I’m so sick and tired of hearing people complain about how our Federal Republic (no, the USA isn’t an official democracy and NEVER has been) became socialist in January 2009, when it’s actually been happening for decades.

What everyone fails to realize that the events which occur in our country at this time has been going on since 2001. GEORGE BUSH is the reason why we are in a recession and beat to the ground, not Barack Obama. Everyone acts as if unemployment and foreclosed homes is new lol. I am a HUGE supporter of Barack Obama and will continue to be. Please give the man a chance to make something positive out of all the negativity. Damn!!!

the problems in ths country are not caused by or leaders. not then or now. we the american people are to blame. fat, lazy, cheeseburger eaten slobs, with there hand out waiting for the goverment to give them something for the nothing that they do! cut all the goverment perks, & handouts and put some of these ablebodied people to work. then watch the countrys national debt go down like the titanic. there are jobs out there, but no one wants to get there hands dirty anymore. unless they get huge undeserved wadges to start. then the union guys come over and tell you to slow down, you’er working to fast and making the rest of us look bad. less work buy the employee = less product= less counsumers= money for the corparation= cuts or closure. simple math,( American pride?) and thats why all industral jobs are leaveing or country and going elsewhere . get this country back!
